The Gorge: A Hidden Gem for Delicious Breakfast and Lunch in Farnham

Came here for the first time today. What a lovely place. We had a delicious breakfast. The service from quick. The waitress friendly and attentive. We sat by the window and enjoyed people watching while we tucked into our lovely breakfast. Very affordable and decent size portions.. really good value for money..the staff were busy but looked after you really well so you won't waiting long. Can totally understand why it was busy as our experience was great.

Went for the 1st time today and ordered the No2 Breakfast and a coffee, When it arrived the beans were luke warm and the Bacon was too fatty for my liking, I was really disappointed as going by the pictures and reviews I had high hopes, maybe I ordered the wrong Breakfast as some I saw were really big and inviting, I will give it another go as the staff were friendly and it was really quiet, and I will order something different next time

I had lunch here today with my friends, first time I've visited. I had vegeburger and chips and it was very good. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I really enjoyed our visit - so much so that one of our party completely lost track of time and was late back to the office. Oops. We'll be back :-)

The service here is brilliant, always super kind staff and very fast service. The food is delicious! I’ve been here a few times recently and it’s one of the best places to go in Farnham. Very reasonable cheap prices too!

Have been working in Farnham all week and tried this place on the last day. Gutted I didn’t come here sooner. Everything was spot on and exactly what’s expected for the ‘local cafe’. Quick, delicious and prices are brilliant. It was busy and can see it’s loved by the locals as well. Will be my go to whenever I’m back to visit now.

Went with a group as a treat for a friend's birthday. Food was nice (if a little on the pricer side) but there was very little I could eat due to dietary restrictions and allergies. Most things have all of the ingredients listed on the menu but not all of them which led to some confusion. Portion sizes were rather large unless you do what I did and order only a burger and most of my group struggled to finish their plates. We had reserved a table beforehand but unfortunately ended up seated not at the specific table that had been reserved for us due to it being placed smack bang in the center of the rather densely furnished seating area despite being notified that we would have a wheelchair user in our party. Too many tables for the size of the building, tables too close together. Staff were rather pleasant and mainly left us alone, which we appreciated but other may not. We went there on a Saturday afternoon so it was understandable that there were children there, but we constantly had them running past our table, near the opening to the kitchen.

It's a typical caff. Lovely staff, super busy so a good atmosphere but not too long to wait. Good selection of food to choose from. Quality of food not incredible but still tasty.
